HP Pavilion x2 11-h010nrHP tries its luck with the convertible range which allows users to use their device both as a laptop as well as a tablet. The HP Pavilion x2 11-h010nr is a result of such experimentation. We have to agree that the market is flooded with hybrids of such kind. But how does this one fare, read on to know more.

The HP Pavilion x2 11-h010nr comes with an 11.6 inch screen. With this screen size there is no doubt that the device is compact and will easy to carry. The fact that the screen is touchscreen will make it easier for tablet fans. The quality of the screen is neat with a 1366 x 768 pixel HD display. Tough tablets are going towards QHD displays; this one does a fare job.

It is powered by an Intel Pentium processor which is a Baytrail quad core one. The processor is definitely not the processor you are going to get in the market, but it suits best for the price point they are offering. There is a 4 GB DDR3 SD RAM that goes with this and allows users to do their bit of multi tasking.

They have introduced a solid state drive instead of a conventional hard drive. There is both good and bad to this. The good thing is that it will improve the loading time to a great extent. The bad thing is that they have given you only 64 GB of space. This is fine if it was only a tablet but since this is also a laptop this will a lot to think for the user.

The operating system is Windows 8 and they have succeeded in keeping the same OS for the tablet experience too. The battery life is decent and the device stays alive for nearly 5.5 hours. There is one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port each and these are the only options to transfer data in and out.

The Intel HD graphics might be enough for simple games you might download from the market place but is definitely not good enough for some serious gameplay. Prepare to be disappointed if you are waiting to play Battlefield on this.

The HP Pavilion x2 11-h010nr is decent convertible option you will find in a really affordable price point. But there are some adjustments to be made by the user like the 64 GB disk space and a not-so-latest processor. If you are okay with all these minor drawbacks and ready for the convertible experience then go for it.
