ASUS VivoTab TF810C-C1-GR Review
Tablets have really become a must have for many these days and even though we have some very clear winners there are also other brands that are providing some really good competition. The ASUS VivoTab TF810C-C1-GR is one such tablet that is worth looking at. They have some really good specification and can really help you finish your tablet work.
The screen size is neither too big nor too small for a tablet at 11.6 inches. The brightness is probably the best in its range at 600 nits and with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels the picture quality is really commendable. The Intel Atom processor that clocks at 1.8 GHz makes sure the operation is real smooth and is well supported by the 2 GB RAM which is really good for a tablet and you can install some high end applications that are solely made for tablets.
This new tablet comes with Windows 8 (not pro) and the wireless connectivity is also nice to get you connected online. The Windows 8 exclusive gestures can be enjoyed with the touchscreen and though we have a type pad, it isn’t as effective as one might have wanted.
The memory of the ASUS VivoTab TF810C-C1-GR is 64 GB. They could have introduced other variants so that people who need more and lesser memory might have had a go at it. With this memory, extreme users must be careful in installing only what they need so that they don’t waste space.
The Wacom Active Digitizer is another really nice addition to the tablet. It is very sensitive and will be of very good use to people who like to edit pictures and also designers. The battery life is also above par as it manages to stay alive for about 6 to 7 hours. Though it is less than the mentioned 9 hours, it still is very good.
There aren’t many issues to complain about. But the presence of USB 2.0 ports could have been accompanied by a couple of USB 3.0 ports with which data transfer could have been breezy. The other minor issue could be the volume. The speakers are at the back and you might not hear sound as you might like.
Other than some minor problems the ASUS VivoTab TF810C-C1-GR is a really good tablet to have. If you need to work on some really good applications on the go, then you might want this else there are many cheaper alternatives. We surely recommend this new gem from ASUS.
