Apple’s new ultra-thin iMac
Apple has finally revealed the new super-thin iMac. There was a huge expectation for the upgrade as the last update was made in May 2011. And Apple have made their best efforts to justify the time taken, one has to say.
The new iMac is 5 millimeter thin at the maximum and also weighs about 8 pounds lesser than its previous model. The new Mac comes with two screen sizes of 21.5 and 27 inches. The resolution of the two models is 1,920 x 1,080 and 2,560 x 1,440 respectively.
In spite of launching the sleekest computer the world has ever seen, Apple has not compromised any of its internal glory. The computers have the best hardware configuration which includes i5 or i7 processor from Intel, Nvidia Kepler graphics and up to 768 GB of flash.
This new Mac also has four USB 3.0 ports and 3 thunderbolt ports. As far as the pricing is concerned, the 21-inch starts at $1,299 and the 27-inch starts at $1,799.
