Acer Aspire V3-571-6475 reviewAcer Aspire V3-571-6475 is another entry in the Aspire series from the house of Acer. The laptop comes out as a contender in the mid range market and certainly has the power to top the list. With mid range and light users being its primary target, does it manage to hit the bull’s eye? Read this review to know more.

The design is the first thing we like to take a look at and the Acer Aspire V3-571-6475 has a good one. The finish of the laptop is good and is a little better than other laptops from the past in the same series. The keyboard will be good to use as the keys are well spaced and the mouse pad comes with a good standard as usual. The weight of the device is also less around 5.7 pounds which makes it more portable.

The screen size here is 15.6 inches which is preferred by most of the people. The resolution of the screen is 1366 x 768 pixels which make it a HD screen but not full HD. The difference shouldn’t be noticeable in this size but the screen does offer some great clarity and is perfect for media consumption. Have a media library? Embrace yourself and get ready to watch it.

Let’s talk about the more important specs. The processor that powers this laptop is an Intel core i3 processor which belongs to their 3rd generation of chips. The maximum clocking frequency of the processor here is 2.5GHz which is good. This processor can be used to its full potential by the mid range users while light users will have no problem whatsoever with this one.

The 4GB DDR3 RAM that makes the memory part is good in complimenting the processor and does a fair job. This allows the user to do many things at once like listening to music while preparing a presentation or processing a word document. The possibilities are endless if you have plans for multi tasking.

The 500GB hard drive offers you a good amount of space and comes with Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit pre-installed. The operating system does take some space which means you get a little less than what they say you get. Talking about the operating system, people are still very comfortable with Windows 7 compared to its recent sibling. So if you like it, you’re in luck.

The graphics department is covered by Intel HD graphics 4000. This isn’t a great graphics card or something but does help you play some good games. If you need to play high end games, you are better off going after an Alienware. Other than that, the performance of the graphics card is pretty good.

There are plenty of connectivity options in the Acer Aspire V3-571-6475. There are 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB 3.0 port. They could have included more of the latter’s kind as it could transfer data at a lightning speed. There is also an HDMI port that allows you to connect your laptop with a HDTV so that you can enjoy the contents of your laptop in a bigger screen.

The battery life is decent at around 4.5 hours. There is nothing but the usual lithium ion battery pack here. People who travel might be able to use their laptop during travel and could also come in handy at school.

This Acer Aspire V3-571-6475 review pointed out the good and the bad about the laptop. This is a reasonably priced laptop that comes with pretty good specs. If you need a laptop which has a budget price and cater to the needs of a mid range/light user then this is a good option.
