Acer Aspire ATC-105-UR11 Review
The Acer Aspire ATC-105-UR11 is yet another release from Acer. This is a desktop computer that is targeted towards the light and the mid range user and also priced competitively. The spec sheets of this Acer PC looks good but let us dig it deep and analyze it further. Read on to know more.
The design is fairly new and we have to say that it is impressive at the first sight. This is definitely something you’ll want to show to your friends and they’ll also like it at a glance. They have kept a number of ports in the front so that it is easy to access and this is a good thing. The USB keyboard and mouse are a good addition to the package.

Processor and Memory
The processor is the core of any machine and we hope you don’t disagree. The AMD quad core A10 processor runs the Acer Aspire ATC-105-UR11. The processor has a maximum clocking frequency of 3.7GHz which makes this one high end machine. The clocking frequency can further be boosted up to 4.3GHz if needed (we are talking some serious power here). There are 4 cores and this also another indication of how much work this processor can do. You can run any high end applications without much performance lag.
The memory department comprises of an unusual 100GB DDR3 RAM. This is a strange number because we are only used to multiple of 4 but anyway it is still a good memory to have. This amount of memory is really cool at running many applications at the same time and even some demanding ones. This is a great processor combo to have at this price point.
Hard drive and Graphics
You have a generous 1TB hard drive that comes along with the desktop. This is a lot of space and usually enough for most of the users. You have Windows 8.1 (which is the latest operating system in the Windows ecosystem) pre-installed in the hard drive. There are also some other perks you can find installed.
The AMD Radeon HD 8670D which covers the graphics department is a pretty good card. It comes with a engine speed frequency of 1GHz and can use up to 2GB if memory for optimum performance. You can run most of the games and this can sometimes impress even the hardcore gamers.
The desktop has loads of connectivity options. There are 6 USB ports in total of which 4 are USB 3.0 ports. There is an HDMI port if you are willing to connect your desktop to a high end device like a HDTV. There are also Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity so that you can connect to devices like printers through Bluetooth. There is a DVD drive that does a fine job reading and writing DVDs.
Is It Worth the Money?
The processor is an amazing one and it is this cheap only because it is from AMD. The memory is also huge making it a great device for multi tasking. Every other element in the desktop including the graphics card is just what the doctor ordered. If you are a mid range this one is worth every single penny.
- Great processor
- Good graphics card
- Bulkier design
We’ve finally come to the end of this Acer Aspire ATC-105-UR11 review. We hope we made sense at most of the places at least. This is a fine desktop that comes at a finer price. Go get this one if you are looking for a workhorse at a budget and also a good one for gaming.
